We would like to share important information regarding your years at KDSS.

Transition meetings with Grade 8 teachers and KDSS Guidance will occur mid February.

Students will be required to make their course selections by the end of February
 A major component and exciting aspect of high school is choosing courses. This includes:

* choosing their compulsory credits for a specific pathway

choosing elective credits ​

French Immersion

At École Kincardine District Senior School we offer both Core French and the French Immersion pathways. Students in Core French can take one French credit in each grade, while French Immersion students complete ten credits total. Some students also opt for Extended French, where they take seven French courses throughout their high school career. 
Special Programming

We have multiple resources in place to assist you on your learning journey. 
Some things to consider:
  • If you have an IEP and computer equipment from your current school, your tech will come with you.
  • Please feel free to make a connection with our LRT if you have any questions regarding your IEP and/or specialized equipment.
